An eye-watering wind at near high tide at Southmoors made things difficult but a small (8-10) flotilla of Black-necked Grebes were well out, a Great Northern Diver surfaced but vanished in the choppy water almost immediately and the two Velvet Scoters were out towards the Oysterbeds. A Rock Pipit was on the shoreline.
At Titchfield in wet and windy conditions no sightings of yesterday's Barred Warbler or indeed any passerines; Marsh Harrier, Sparrowhawk, three Curlews (one above) and the hybrid Barnacle. Just 300 Teal on the west side.
