Male Lasioglossum calceatum/albipes, Dark Arches and Small Magpie all below. A Bombus lapidarius was the first I've seen in the garden this year and the hot and humid conditions triggered a flying ant hatch with attendant gulls feeding overhead. Later in the day this flower bee (Anthophora quadrimaculata) joined the honeybees on the lavender; the moth trap went out but was packed away as it started to rain with more showers likely. Still, a Riband Wave, a Bright-line Brown-eye and a Heart and Dart appeared in the bedroom!
