Double bubble....

Out at just after 5am to enjoy the cool air and clear the trap being greeted by the sounds of a couple of bubbling curlews; scanned the skies but realised it was from two different starlings on adjacent chimneys!!
No big surprises but Clouded Border and Least Carpet were both new for this garden and another Tree Lichen Beauty. A few escapees also; this Silver Y was well-revved up.

Briefly, Blashford had nil and no trap, Ibsley Water was still and held 150+ Greylags but little else of note. A couple of Woodlark flew over the Linwood to Janesmoor road. At Pipers Wait a brief visit produced the first Spotted Flycatcher of the year(!!), two Stonechats and a single Buzzard and no better raptors. Ran out of time with pending nursing home and hospital visits.
