Following on from more reports of Hawfinch at Arundel I walked the Mill Stream and had four and a male Bullfinch. Later in the day Hawfinch calls were very audible on a couple of occasions from within WWT although the birds didn't show; a good chance they were different to this morning's birds.
A fine, close Firecrest (above) and less-obliging Goldcrest with Geoff, Ken and co. Just a few Snipe, one Water Rail and Kites/Buzzards/Ravens. One or two Siskins in the alders
