Inside outside leave me alone..

...out of my brain on the 5:15..

Too hot to sleep but got up to deal with the moth trap thinking it must be seven-thirty at least  - but no - quarter past five!! Still, it was cool, still and quiet and a single Swift screamed low overhead, unusual these days. Luckily the local sparrows are too busy creating a racket to have discovered the trap so I'm not getting any casualties.
Quick list Brimstone 2,  Common, Green and Freyer's Pug (7), LBAM (4), Codling Moth (2), White-headed House Moth (1), Heart and Dart (7), Willow Beauty (1), Pale Mottled Willow(3), Garden Carpet 1, Common Marbled Carpet 1, Large Yellow Underwing 1, Cypress Carpet 1 and micro spp 1 awaiting id.

Edit Micro appears to be Spilonota ocellana maybe.

A brief jaunt to Sidlesham produced nine s/p Dunlins, four Redshanks, three LRPs, ten Avocets and a seven-strong family of Shelducks. A single Wasp Beetle which fell off its perch rather than be photographed(!!) and this Bombus lapidarius were the only insects in overcast and windy conditions.
