Iceland dip

Checked in and all OK then off to PHP for bacon bap and coffee just as the rain started. The eight Shovelers and six Pochards were joined by eight Gadwalls, not particularly common here. The impromptu feeders were almost exhausted but still enough for the rats and sparrows; sadly a male Bullfinch refused to come close and a number of Redwings feeding on the ground in the 'insect -alley' were also camera-shy. Five Med Gulls joined in a washing frenzy as the rain started. Finally, a close flyover Red Kite was on me before I could raise the camera.

Later, at Selsey East Beach carpark this Polish Med Gull and three Sandwich Terns were poor consolation for the departed Iceland Gull.

Update.
